We can multiply polynomials by using a GRID METHOD
Write one of the polynomials across the top and the other down the left side.
$$ \begin{darray}{|c|c|c|c|}\hline & \color{blue}{8x^2} & \color{blue}{58x} & \color{blue}{100} \\ \hline \color{blue}{x} & & & \\ \hline \color{blue}{-6} & & & \\ \hline \end{darray} $$Fill in each empty box by multiplying the intersecting terms.
$$ \begin{darray}{|c|c|c|c|}\hline & \color{blue}{8x^2} & \color{blue}{58x} & \color{blue}{100} \\ \hline \color{blue}{x} & \color{orangered}{8x^3} & \color{orangered}{58x^2} & \color{orangered}{100x} \\ \hline \color{blue}{-6} & \color{orangered}{-48x^2} & \color{orangered}{-348x} & \color{orangered}{-600} \\ \hline \end{darray} $$Combine like terms:
$$ 8x^3 + 58x^2-48x^2 + 100x-348x-600 = \\ 8x^3+10x^2-248x-600 $$
