Rewrite $ 25y^2-x^2 $ as:
$$ \color{blue}{ 25y^2-x^2 = (5y)^2 - (x)^2 } $$Now we can apply the difference of squares formula.
$$ I^2 - II^2 = (I - II)(I + II) $$After putting $ I = 5y $ and $ II = x $ , we have:
$$ 25y^2-x^2 = (5y)^2 - (x)^2 = ( 5y-x ) ( 5y+x ) $$
